Leibson-McGrath was a boutique real estate ad agency in Northbrook on the north shore of Chicago. Their client, Chicago real estate giant Baird & Warner, was celebrating their 150th year in business. I’m a huge history buff and a life-long Chicago resident so I was thrilled to get this project.

I came up with the concept of doing a retrospective of what was happening during particular years while they were in business. These ran in the real estate sections of local newspapers. Mastheads they were called, banner ads from a printier age.

I was very pleased with how this campaign excited the client and helped them see their historic business through a new lens that celebrates experience and resilience, true Chicago values.
